I dont even remember posting anything about my pregnancy but yes, I gave birth to this little one... my pride and joy ^__^

I'm back!

well kinda, not really.
i haven't been posting because i've been baking a bun in the oven and been sooo swamped with misc (ok not really, just really lazy)
real quick update:
been on leave since the beginning of the year.
had a beautiful baby shower courtesy of family and friends. thanks goiiis
and as of today i am 9 days until i am officially due.  i'm about to have a baby! ahhhhhhh

anyway.. i still have beautiful pictures to share so keep on the lookout.

After a draught of events since the wedding, a wave of craziness has once again stirred up my life.

Friends are getting married left and right, we're moving again (this time to a house) and as if that's not enough, J and I are... well more on that later ;)

Once again, life is moving way to fast for me to catch up... but I'm not complaining~~ all is good and couldnt be any better :)

Yes, its a new day and I'm going to embrace every last bit of it!

Oh the decisions... so I've come to the conclusion that I'm not satisfied with our home.  I like our furniture but the wall colors are not cohesive with the furniture.

right now the second floor wall color is a very light minty green.  I dont know what made me choose this but anywoo, it has got to go.

^You can tell how green the walls are here, blech!

I really want a cool, pale grey for the walls.  It might look a little bland at first but with this base, I can add color with curtains, bedding, rugs etc.

 As for my living room, I'm pretty satisfied with how it came out.... although we have to do something about the arrangement of chairs and covering up the bare walls.  I love the grey patterned chair in the top left, but it looks out of place there. I hate that side table, but can't find a replacement.

I would love to add a wired decal like this.. so cute!

Breaking up the monotone white of the walls with grey could be a possibility, but I dont know if I wanna go that bold in such an open space

I would love love love to add a little library of some sort.

 but if anything, I'll add color to the walls with paintings.  (made by J+S?)

On another note,
I've never been one for due dates or getting things done on schedule.  Oh what the heck, to be honest, I'm never on time. When it comes to new year's resolutions, I rarely accomplish everything on my list, let alone one or two.  Oh what the heck, I forget whats even on the list by mid-year.  it's what I do. I make lists and more lists with no end..  With all that said, I still cannot not make one... so here they are ... in no particular order

• re-do our porch
• get outdoor furniture for our porch
• start crafting and painting for home decor
• Asia tour - China, Korea, Japan, Thailand
• buy a canon and start taking pictures - at least one everyday
• go to gym at least twice a week
• figure out a 5-year plan that is practical and makes me happy
• get a mini garden going on our patio so flowers will be in full bloom this spring/summer
• Stella McCartney jacket and trousers in nudes + PS1 in smoke
• go to unique shops/ thriftshop in NYC at least once a week
• think investment pieces, not instant gratification *ahem forever 21
• maintain hair and nails more frequently lol
• re-do our office
• come across the cutest little puppy in need so J and I can adopt her and live happily ever after... I know its not a resolution but wouldn't it be nice? :)

It's long overdue but I've been meaning to post the progression of our new home.

When we first bought it, everything was pretty much outdated and looked like it was from the 70's - down to the ancient laquer cabinets... ick!  Our electrician told us the wires behind the walls were LITERALLY from the 70's when it was first built.

This was the living room area with the entry way between the stairs and the kitchen.  To the left was a wall which separated the kitchen from the living room.  I HATED it.  That was the first thing we had to get rid of.

We opened up half the wall and made an island on top.  What a difference it made.  It opened up the space and made it look larger that it really was.

Here's a detailed look.  The backsplash is of tiny seafoam colored glass tiles and our cabinets are in an off-white color.  I like the traditional look so that's what we aimed for in the kitchen.
